Sequins can be tricky to style but they really don't need to be. Here is some inspiration.

Sequin overload in this outfit. One can never have enough sequins, which is why I paired my full on sequinned dress with a sequinned dress. The subtle sparkliness of the earrings compliment the rest of the outfits. I'd wear this outfit to a glam night out, where I want to stand out in.

This almost all black outfit has a punk rock vibe. I played with different textures with the sequinned top, leather skirt and suede boots. The boots are the focal point of the outfit, creating an element of surprise in the outfit.
(Crop Top: Urban Outfitters // Skirt: Forever 21 // Heels: Novo // Earrings: Emma Page // Rings: H&M and Primark) |
This sequinned skirt is a nod to the 1920s and so I reinvented the burlesque look to be suitable for now. Maroon is often associated with burlesque and so this long sleeved crop top is perfect for this outfit.
(Top: H&M // Shorts: One Teaspoon // Flatforms: Charles & Keith // Bracelet: Rubi Shoes // Watch: Gifted) |
Who says sequins are saved for nights out? Sequins can be worn during the day. The distressed denim cutoffs play off the showiness of the sequinned top.
those sequin pieces are so lovely!
