DIY Easy Recycled Key Necklace

This simple DIY is great if you have an old key lying around. You can also do this to you existing keys to help distinguish each key. 

What you'll need is:

- An old key

- Nail polish of any colour

- Masking tape

- Necklace chain

 Start by sticking a piece of masking tape on the key in order to create a straight edge with the nail polish. 

 Then just paint on your chosen colour of nail polish. You may require multiple coats, so just keep reapplying until you are happy with the coverage. Let each coat dry for approximately 30mins and once you've painted the final coat leave it to dry for a further 2-4 hours to ensure that it is all dry. 

 Remove the masking tape. Clean up the edge with a brush dipped in nail polish remover. 

 Thread the key onto a chain and Voila, you are done!
